Recently, a friend of mine approached me with a question about what he should read about gambling. He read a lot of specialized forums and looked at information on websites, but he was not satisfied. He started betting on sports not so long ago, but began to lose a lot and realized that he had a significant lack of theoretical knowledge. He loves books and believes that only books present knowledge systematically, and not chaotically, as on many websites. But his question stumped me. Although I have read some books on sports betting, poker and other games, I do not know what specifically to advise a beginner. What books would you recommend?
To be candid,I've not heard about Reading a book or studying to master gambling skills. And for the people that read about gambling, does it really give a positive effect at last.Almost every profession needs a reader and reading is a versatile tool to expands and enrich our knowledge. But the reading approach to gambling isn't accredited, perhaps the reading theory for gambling shouldn't be overemphasized.
Well, there is nothing wrong about reading gambling books, but I don't know what we get from it. Maybe it was just another story-telling just to encourage gamblers. But I don't think that is what we want to happen. Because even if we do this every day, I'm certain this will never change the outcome of our bet. It never helps, but instead, this will even drive addiction because of the good story in there that influences our minds. Gambling is not about reading books, but it is about hoping for luck. Knowledge is useless if we are still unlucky.
I also agree with you very much, gambling never requires any book or any deep knowledge, if there is any book related to gambling, it only creates false hope of winning in people's minds, and makes them addicted to gambling, and gambling addiction causes economic losses on the one hand, and on the other hand it also has a very negative impact on mental and social relationships. Success can never be achieved by gambling, and to achieve that success, no kind of "reading books" or any strategy can be applied. The results of gambling are completely dependent on luck. So avoid risky activities like gambling, do good deeds, success will come through only good work. And view gambling as entertainment only.
