Eventually, you can renounce U.S. citizenship, and not be taxed anymore on your passport citizenship.
Though be aware they'll treat your capital gains as if it's been realized and you'll be liable for those taxes, IIRC. The US tax system is one of the most pernicious in the world even if not always the weightiest.
