This is not a single case  ^{as you already understood} when addiction to gambling has ruined family savings.  Being addicted  gambler is not conscious of consequences of his terrible offenses ^{in fact secondary personality is living inside his brain} which should be treated by psychotherapists. His primary personality may reveal itself as a good dad but the second one commit offences. I don't  condone the offence of the given man but treat him as the mentally disturbed person.
