How many of us can remember when everyone was tapping on their phone continuously Just to make money, projects like notcoin, dogs and hamster Kombat made people think that getting paid by doing such tasks would happen consistently. As time went on a lot of other airdrops that started coming up were just a waste of people's time, energy and effort. Right now most of the ongoing projects that were once popular like Blum and the rest of them are losing value, a lot of people are no longer interested. If you want to farm reasonable airdrops I suggest that you stick to testnets, they might take time but your efforts won't be wasted. The bright side of these telegram airdrops is that they introduced a lot of people to the crypto space, beginners are now able to sell their assets on different exchange. To those who are still actively involved in airdrops this topic isn't meant to discourage you, keep doing it as long as you are getting results. But making good money from crypto can only be gotten by trading or hodling.
There is some misunderstanding about Hamster Kombat and Notcoin and I think that need to be address for people that has abandoned airdrop. Notcoin was a huge success because it has only 15m eligible participants that grinded the task while Hamster Kombat airdrop 130M participants, if we divide number of participants in Hamster Kombat by the number of Notcoin, everyone will get 8x of their allocation, to me Hamster tried to some extent but fumbled for paying Kols more.
Now the idea behind tapping is just for fun and it became a place for jokes, the subsequent project became worst, no funding and had to begged and force participants to pay TON to have a better position but even at that it wasn't better, the allocation were peanut and everyone has realize the trend has phase out, it's time to build something unique but the problem is that Ton doesn't have much developers like some other blockchains and it's limiting their growth, they have even mandated some projects to leave their space of they are not going to be building on Ton blockchain and that's understandable in my opinion, you can't be exploiting Ton users and not build on Ton.
