1. Is using AI to improve and refine responses considered a mistake on this forum? I believe the main goal is to provide relevant and accurate information.
It depends on what you mean by refining a response. If you are simply correcting your grammar mistakes, then it is not really a problem.
If you are using AI to craft your entire reply, then it is better not to do it. AI is still very stupid sometimes, and you may end up replying with something that is wrong or unhelpful. Given the incentives there are for posting on the forum, AI use should be discouraged; otherwise, many people will resort to spamming as much as possible so they can hit the maximum quota allowed in their signature campaign.
Spot on. A prime example of incorrect AI 'answers' is it calling mining "a process of solving complex mathematical equations". There is nothing 'complex' about it. Ja strictly speaking it is an equation but all a miner is doing is hashing gazillions of random numbers using a very simple algorithm and compares the result of each hash to the work sent to it. If it exceeds target difficulty - you've cracked a block. If not - it tries a different number. Rinse & repeat doing this trillions of times per second.
That aside, excessively relying on AI to craft posts does not let you actually learn something - that takes understanding the How and Why of things and to understand that takes researching or at least taking a deep look into whatever you are asking about. AI just give a single answer while providing no context of what underlies the answer.
