Bayern Munich seems reluctant to let Joshua Kimmich go but unfortunately, it is not in line with what the player concerned wants because as far as I know, Joshua Kimmich is not interested in extending his contract, which means he could leave this January or at the end of the season as a free agent. Besides Real Madrid, Liverpool is also reportedly interested in Joshua Kimmich. It seems like Liverpool wants to anticipate if Trent Alexander Arnold really leaves Anfield.
Liverpool didn't want to sell Arnold, now he will leave for free + the competition for Kimmich will raise his price. In the sense that even though Kimmich will leave Bayern for free, his negotiating position will be stronger when two top clubs (or even three clubs, since Bayern has not lost hope) are fighting for him. In general, it is amazing how Real collects the best football players in the world at reasonable prices/for free, that's what brand power means (and I don't mean image but real achievements).
