I think I totally agreed with you that Manchester United away game at Fulham tonight was actually a boring one especially for neutrals who wanted to enjoy the game. That said, I think United can be excused for not delivering an entertaining game but still managed to get all three points and that's because I believe the new manager is still working on the team's flaws which is why he's exploring the options players at his disposal. Ruben Amorim I believe will succeed with this club but it'll take a lot of patience from the club fans before they can start seeing the best from the Portuguese manager.
Yeah Manchester United managed to secure 3 points through luck, just look based on statistics Man United only has 4 shots and 1 of them on target luckily 1 shot was a goal while Fulham dominated a little but they couldn't do much. We cannot say that Manchester United have returned to the track because we haven't seen the impressive match from them and Manchester United need more luck to stay away from degradation.
Basically Fulham is not an easy opponent for Man United but at least Man United still tried not to lose in this match and indeed if you look at the course of the match Man United did not dominate the match but at least Man United could maintain their defense well until the end of the match and none of Fulham's shots were successfully converted into goals and with 1 goal scored by Lisandro Martínez Man United managed to steal 3 points from Fulham's home, but yes we should not be happy yet because Man United has not fully improved.
