Did this in the past already. The term is a good fit.

EDIT: I almost couldn't believe what i just saw on Twatter:

https://x.com/rogerkver/status/1883521344341750175

Mr. self-expelled "Bitcoin Jesus" pleading for Trump's help as a "real american".
I should call him "Chameleon Jesus" from now on  Cheesy

I don't ever want to see anyone go to prison for non-violent crimes.  Especially another Bitcoiner was so instrumental in Bitcoin's early rise.  It's easy for people to pile on Roger now, but he was an early asset to Bitcoin at a time when it could have easily failed.  Don't get caught up in a narrative.  Roger is a real person who did what he thought was best and open source projects are meant to be forked when disagreements happen.  It's crazy to me that even after the horrible fall flat on your face failure of the lightning network, people are still mad at Roger and not Blockstream.  This is why governments censor.  It works.

All that being said, this is damning:

I didn't really wanted to make fun out of the situation Ver's in, but his affinity to drama, presentation wise.
At least that's something that popped out for me constantly, all those 7 years i was aware of him (to date).
I do have empathy problems a bit, though.

Lightning may have failed ...yet, imo. At worst, i mean. I don't care much about LN, but i know it solved some important problems, may have introduced new ones, but to my awareness only minor ones, compared to the resolved ones.

Musk is out of his mind even more since DOGE (the government one).
I'd rather be careful with him and his opinions, even if i would be Raging Donald himself.

Roger Ver did a lot for Bitcoin early on, but his recent actions are bad.  Asking Trump for help is really bad.  I don't think anyone should go to jail for things that aren't violent, but this makes it hard to defend him. Bitcoin is still good, but he's not.

Roger Ver did a lot for Roger Ver, if anyone happened to benefit from it, it was probably pure coincidence imo.... unless you were a baby who would have died at birth or a person who would have starved to death due to the diversion of the Bitcoin scaling map.  Oh!   Or if you were Andreas Antonopoulos who he made into a millionaire by attempting to shame him for not buying and holding bitcoin early on while he actively worked on it. (Antonopoulos got over $1.5mill in donations after that)

Read Andreas' post in response to what Ver said here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/in-defense-of-15736690
and then his post about getting all those donations here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/emotional-15912702

Is Ver telling the truth in his Tucker Carlson interview?  Watch his brain fucking implode and reboot when he says "obey" - this word is clearly painful for him to utter.

Carlson interview: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/IxkPxNnqthY (it's around the 27 second mark)

edit: I  had to look back and figure out why the quoting was off.  Fixed it.

Many thanks for this. I'm a long-time admirer of Andreas Antonopoulos. My very first purchase of 0.5 BTC back in 2015 was triggered by one of his YouTube talks. I owe a lot to him. I wasn't aware of his interaction with Roger Ver before I read this post.
