I think I totally agreed with you that Manchester United away game at Fulham tonight was actually a boring one especially for neutrals who wanted to enjoy the game. That said, I think United can be excused for not delivering an entertaining game but still managed to get all three points and that's because I believe the new manager is still working on the team's flaws which is why he's exploring the options players at his disposal. Ruben Amorim I believe will succeed with this club but it'll take a lot of patience from the club fans before they can start seeing the best from the Portuguese manager.
Yeah Manchester United managed to secure 3 points through luck, just look based on statistics Man United only has 4 shots and 1 of them on target luckily 1 shot was a goal while Fulham dominated a little but they couldn't do much. We cannot say that Manchester United have returned to the track because we haven't seen the impressive match from them and Manchester United need more luck to stay away from degradation.
In that match, Manchester United was actually not like Manchester United. Again and again Amorim is still not finished with his trials in using various formations and different player arrangements and quite random position changes. And yeah, I'm actually quite sure that this victory is nothing more than luck for this team. because I'm surprised how Manchester United wasn't able to create many opportunities in this match. But then I wasn't surprised after seeing how Amorim placed the players in quite unusual positions. And I'm sure that after this Amorim will not use the strategy used against Fullham because it is clear that it is a strategy that can be said to be not very successful.
