In Poland we had Roman Kluska which biz was destroyed due to him not giving bribe when some ppl wanted it from him.
For a millions biz he got 100k or 200k PLN from court as a compensation. These were decades of court cases.
He won, but nearly nothing.

Since around year 2000 I know that making bigger biz in Poland is nonsense.
I would make biz for millions but also I know it would be destroyed by some ppl, so I didn't even started.

Also ppl with high experience in IT are treated very badly. Since every few months the salaries are reset and you start from few thousands PLN less. This happens for years each and every few months. And ppl don't see that, they just agree and live below their experience.

Poland is so shitty country, I observe that for decades. This is a closed loop. You cannot stand out here. Even if you should.
Poland is not really the best country to live in EU but I live in Germany and Ireland, I'm have a very good life. Poland is beautiful but quality of life is low, it's also very corrupt but so is Germany too, the difference is that in Germany you can have a very high quality of life even if you are unskilled. Ireland is a great place for highly experienced IT employees. Overall, salaries in Europe for IT personnel is very low compared to the USA.

By the way, if you live in Poland, you should try to move in Germany or France or Netherlands or Ireland (If you are into IT). I know that language is a barrier but you learn it quickly when you move and have communication with local people. This process gets especially better and fast if you get a girlfriend.

The east of the EU is quite different from the west, and it seems to me that this is, among other things, a consequence of long-term exposure to communism, the influence of which is still felt in some countries.
Soviet Union was a fungus to these countries but some people are brainwashed and want to move to Russia from Europe Cheesy In Europe, even if you live in a poor country, you at least have a chance to live in top countries.
