World football journalist, Fabrizio Romano reported that Neymar agreed to return to his childhood club (Santos). A verbal agreement has been reached between all parties involved in the transfer, talks set to continue next week for a more formal opportunity. He has already said yes to moving to the club that made his name, if this transfer happens, maybe Neymar will end his career there.

FabrizioRomanoI don't know how authentic this report is but is truly what's contained in it is as genuine as it's reported, I think the Brazilian is just going back from where he started to show his appreciation for all the love and support he received from the club management and fans during his stay there as well as when he left the club to go pursue his football career abroad. Neymar Jr return to Santos I don't think will have any significant effect on the team and my reason of saying that is simply because he's not that fit to perform at the top of his game anymore. It's more of a ceremonial return to his club boyhood club than a return to come help the club win trophies again.
Currently it is reported that the two parties are close to completing the agreement and in the near time of course the transfer is likely to be realised, Al Hillal and Neymar have a contract agreement until the end of the season, so it can be said that he will lose a lot of money if he moves to Santos later and even with the decision to break his contract at Al Hilal, Neymar is expected to lose about $65 million in revenue, currently Al Hillal has officially no longer included him in the main squad for the rest of the season, so indeed his decision to return to Santos is certainly the right decision for him to be able to restore his performance in playing, if the transfer is realised, I think Santos will be the team where he starts and retirement from football later.

If he can recover that would be great, but so far it seems that he doesn't want to play football anymore and it's nothing more than a money making endeavour for him. And with this approach, as we know, nothing good usually happens, that's all. It will probably be his last club in his career and he will not play there for more than two seasons.
