I also felt that Fulham deserved a draw from the game because Manchester United were not fantastic. They were just fortunate that Fulham failed to maximize the chances they created through counterattacks. The will was a big relief for both the coach and players because their poor runs have put them under pressure.

When a club refuses to invest in quality players, it will begin to show on its performance. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy have not given the club management enough funds to buy the needed players. I heard that Ange Postecoglou has asked for more signings this January, but the club is doing nothing about it. They were just able to get Czech goalkeeper Kinsky. It was a good win for Van Nistelrooy. Leicester have lost seven games in nine matches, the win would reduce pressure.
Honestly to the chairman, when they spent a lot of money, they didn't achieve anything anyways, so it is not really like a situation where they are doing badly because he never tried. Chairman Daniel Levy tried to keep up with other teams for a long time, and put the name of Tottenham into the "big six" and yet never won a trophy at all, so it's easy to say that fans were upset with the results of course, but the chairman must be mad about it as well. If they have won some stuff, they could have made some of that money back, but looking back on what they got, they only have losses and this causes financial trouble too.

So I am guessing he probably just said "if we are going to not make a profit and not win, might as well not spend money neither". Which makes sense, when he spent money, they won nothing, so he might as well not spend any and save his money. I would like to see the team change hands too, it would make sense if someone else took it and spent a lot more.
