City need to beat Brugge and they have to do it because it will allow them to overtake Brugge in the table and not depend on the result of other games. Even a draw is not good for them because with 9 points they will remain outside the top 24, but for Brugge a draw will be enough, which I think they will try to do. City have improved in recent games, if you do not count the end of the match against PSG, they have become much better, and they need to remember to defend every time they get carried away with attacking.
Yeah they need to beat Brugge, it's their ticket to Knockout stage since they failed to utilize the ticket giving against PSG.. now the issue is that with what they perform against PSG no one can tell if they will win against Brugge even though the odd seem to be on Man City side since we all believe they should win it to escape elimination.
Brugge haven't been that impressive in their games though but they have what it takes to win it as they've shown against some average teams and we can come to conclusion that City performance is almost leaving the average zone.
Due to new format in Champions League hype is at his best for few teams which are looking for spots into next round specially main focus is Manchester City which is currently at 25th spot and it's must win situation for them in case of draw or lost this could be huge upset. Currently, few teams are in deep trouble as their situation is not clear but still 3 teams are having great chance of going out from bottom, but few are having games at home which is good advantage for them PSG, Sporting CP and Stuttgart needed to be ended on draw as their spots could be settled.
Benfica going to visit Juventus while Manchester City going to be host Club Brugge which are surely interesting games for them in case of poor results things can take changes and these teams can lose their chances for promotion.
