It's nothing new. It's usually the same way with leagues. The last match days of the league are usually played on the same day to avoid certain issues and make it easier. The broadcasters will find a way to either show all the matches all the ones that are most relevant to the regions. There will also be channels that will show something like a goal rush so you can be updated with videos of what is happening in other games.

I think I like the new format. It gives us more important games from the very beginning. Now you have top teams like Madrid, Man City, PSG and other top teams not certain of automatic qualification. After this round, we will have 4 more nights of interesting fixtures where top teams can be knocked out of the playoffs before the actual knockout stage.
