If he borrowed the money to make the bet I would imagine he probably got suicided more than he committed suicide.  That seems like a drastic action to take for someone who can come up with millions of dollars to make a bet.  Still, this is a warning that maybe you shouldn't bet more than you can afford to lose and remember that gambling is entertainment, not a job. 

I do not support betting on large amounts. $2.5 million is a very large amount. Was there a need to bet on such a large amount? I think he must be spending all his money on gambling. He is bankrupt, that is why he took a difficult decision like suicide.

We should never be overly greedy. It is possible to make money from gambling, but it is also very easy to lose money through gambling. We should not bet such an amount of money that if we lose, we will face financial losses. We can invest money in gambling in addition to our daily living expenses.
