Of course he was going to decide like that at this young age. He is only 24 and he has lots of more trophies to win with Real Madrid in the future.

He was going to get an enormous offer from a Saudi team normally. They were rumoured to offer 300 million euros to Real Madrid as transfer fee and 200 million a year as a salary to the player. That's of course an insane offer.

But not enough to convince a player like this anyway. As far as I know he makes 25 million a year with bonuses now but not everything is money. Achieving successes in Europe is much more valuable than the successes in Saudi Arabia obviously.

You don’t see a lot of players make this decision because a player like Vinicius will be given a very huge contract and the fact that he was able to make the decision of staying at Real Madrid means he is really not playing for the money. Not many players can make this decision after being offered such a deal of receiving a huge salary. He is still young and still needs to play in Europe for now and try to win more trophies and awards.

200 million per annum is an insane amount and not being tempted by the offer shows high level of professionalism. It is a life changing offer even for a player of Vinicius status, if he accepts the offer it’s also a great deal for Real Madrid receiving a transfer fee of 300 million. Sometimes I just wonder where the Saudi teams get such money from to be paying a single player such amount.
