Now that Trump is doing all the good that can be done, the people will forget that the next President might be another Biden or worse. So they simply trust in the good they hope will be done, and don't protect themselves.
this has been the issue with the democratic system of governance that only runs for a set out period of years be it four or eight years. regardless of how good the individual is, you can only serve till your tenure expires after which another person will be made to take over and then the fact that continuity is what politicians and most parties don't like, whoever comes next will want to come up with a different ideology that might defeat whatever good the past government has succeeded in achieving.

whatever trump does and whatever policy he implements, just enjoy it while it last while hoping that his successor will come up with leadership plan that seeks to be better than whatever trump will succeed in achieving throughout the time he will serve as the president of the united state. thinking too much about the future that is years to come when trump is barely weeks as the official president is trying to move too fast, lets allow trump rule for at least a year and then we can see how much the effect of his leadership will have on the state and the global leadership landscape at large.

It is part of democracy and how most of the western countries are supposed to work. If Trump's manages to bring a golden age to the USA then by the end of his presidency he could easily sponsor someone who shares political ideas with, in order to give continuation to the MAGA movement, perhaps with someone younger. Political ideas do not end with the life of those who promote them in the first place.
As it stands for now, the Republican party is in a very different situation it used to be when Trump first entered politics, now he has almost complete control over all those who work in the Senate, the house or representatives and also much popularity among voters, that is all he needs if he wants to do a good job and his successor to also do a good job.

Democracy can be all fine and good in its place. But click here to start to learn how to personally use the Republic - which is over the Democracy - in the United States of America.

If you want to be an American citizen Hispo, with the knowledge here, you can be once you get on US Territorial land. With that knowledge, they can't deport you except if you have harmed someone or damaged his property. The only State that will give you trouble is Louisiana... because it is not a State that bows to common law.
