It’s easier to believe because we already doubt the league’s reputation. That’s just how it is, we tend to think that bigger leagues are safer, but in reality, they might actually be more rigged, we just don’t notice it.

So personally, I’m not even surprised anymore when people get caught for match-fixing. At this point, it feels like a normal thing as long as sports betting exists.
