Trump stopping HIV funding in Nigeria is really  concerning, though it shouldn’t be if only our government truly cared about its people. Nigeria has the capacity to fund HIV treatment, but we all know the reality of our system.
It is nothing to beat about the bush for if we have a good system that is working as theirs in terms of leadership because it's the resources we have it in sufficient but just a lack of quality leadership to management the available resources.

Just in 2023 alone, Nigeria received about $1 billion in aids from the US, isn't that pathetic for a country that's naturally endowed with both natural and human resources to be depending on other countries for financial aids all of the time.

However, this orders by the US government under Donald Trump may seem hurting to the average person on the street  it's a wake up call for us to put our own house in order by pushing and pressing for accountability and equitable service delivery from our leaders at all levels of government.

Donald Trump had said he wants to make America great again and that's what he's fighting for. It's left for us to canvass for leaders that would work to make Nigeria great as well. Assuming Nigeria is working as well as others, who will care about what other countries like the US decides to do whit their own money?
