There are various symptoms seen in an addicted gambler. Especially if a gambler gambles a lot, then he cannot take a break from gambling. When he lost his money, he arranges money in a short time. Some may borrow money from others,  some may selling some valuable asset of his own or family, and gambling with that money. The characteristic that I have seen in addicted gamblers is that they are most of the time unconscious, and their attention is not increased in the work they do. Nowadays, it is difficult to determine if a gambler is addicted. Because they do not reveal it to others. But if any such symptom is found in a gambler, then they are definitely an addicted gambler.
All attention is focused on the game and such players not only can ignore those around them, but also household chores, such as looking after a child, feeding him or changing diapers. I think this is one of the strongest hobbies that can exist, especially if the player is trying to win back. This can even reach madness if the player runs out of money on the balance and runs to look for more to make a deposit at any cost. Also, one of the signs can be the constant lying of the player to those around him, even close friends and relatives. I have seen such cases many times in real life, unfortunately.
