Based on Manchester city's recent performances, it would only be fair to say that the team has had some great deal of improvements for a while now which has brought them out of that unpleasant situations that they were going through last year and perhaps this weekend they would be up against what I would call a familiar opponent, i mean no disrespect, but it seems both teams are very familiar with each other and somehow play a similar style of football. Arsenal's manager, Mikel Arteta once assisted Pep Guardiola at Manchester city and has a little knowledge about Manchester city and how to tackle them, besides this season Arsenal were able to get a draw against city in the first leg of their premier league encounter against Manchester city and they would be looking forward to getting a win against City to keep their title hopes alive just in case Liverpool flops but I am convinced Manchester city wouldn't let that happen this weekend.
There is no denying that Manchester City's performance is improving. In the last few Premier League matches, we have seen a very organized gameplay from Manchester City. Manchester City may not be as strong as before. Even so, Guardiola has been able to solve the internal problems of this team to a large extent.
Manchester City's past performance against Arsenal is not that good. City was in their best form in the last few seasons. Then they could not play well against Arsenal. Out of the last 5 head-to-head matches, three matches have been drawn and both teams have won one match each. The last two matches of these two teams have also been drawn. So the upcoming match seems to me to be the most likely to be a draw. Both teams will be happy to get 1 point.
