It's the same for me. I'm not a Real Madrid fan and never have been. But that's one thing and another to recognise that they are the most likely to win the title, and not just because of the points, because the points are a reflection of the consistency they have shown in the competition. This has a basic issue as well, Real Madrid has been managed very well financially by its president Florentino Perez for many years. Real Madrid have had him as their only president since 2009 while Barcelona have had 5, managing their finances much worse which has led to a disastrous situation which has obviously been reflected in the results.
Real Madrid have power like of the King in Champions League and they always have very strong mentality in Champions League. They strongly believe that they will not lose a match and a battle before a referee final whistle and the ending. It makes up their strong confidence and motivation of fighting seriously.
Their opponents in contrast are lack of experience and strong mentality of the champions so they easily collapse and lose advantage if Real Madrid manage to score a first goal. It happened many times and many seasons in Champions League.
