I personally also admit that Chelsea has been better since last season, but the problem is about the comparison between Pochettino and Enzo Maresca. Last season, at least Pochettino managed to make Chelsea better and finish in sixth place after previously Chelsea was very destroyed with the previous coach too. But, Pochettino managed to improve Chelsea but after all, Pochettino was also fired and currently Chelsea is in a decline in performance.
Thus, of course there is still a lot of difficult work for Enzo Maresca, because to have a consistent team in the Premier League is not easy at all. Although it is possible, Chelsea has good progress with its young squad, but if Chelsea at the end of this season fails to finish in the top six, then it will also be a failure for Enzo Maresca which will make his position possibly threatened to be fired too.
It is very difficult to have a first team currently in the EPL. The reason i am in support with this motion is that, there are some clubs that are used to some certain players those players get to become a weakness if they encounter such club. Next is the fact that if one of the players get injured there might be a shift in formation or tactics to suite other playing style. This can limit the performance of any team. Right now the EPL is the toughest league. Every club is challenging as we speak. If any team wants to standout they need more than one first team. Team A, Team B at least but all must be first hand players. Chelsea has tried to get so many players still they cant get a perfect Team A and Team B. Its becoming a difficult one for Enzo Maresca to select.
