I agree with you that consistency is key for a club in facing the title competition. Real Madrid has shown an impressive revival after a bad start to the season, slowly they can show their best performance, in contrast to Barcelona who seem to have difficulty maintaining the level of play due to injuries to several key players even though the squad owned by Barcelona is not as great as that of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid because Barcelona cannot recruit good players due to financial problems.
That's why I once said that Madrid's poor performance at the beginning of the season will not continue like that because I still believe that Ancelotti will try his best to improve Real Madrid's performance, this club already has the best players in it so it's just a matter of adjusting the conditions and now the Real Madrid squad is starting to find chemistry between them so they can optimize their performance to appear consistently, and for Barcelona it seems like they will also experience a temporary decline if their mainstay players recover maybe it will return Barcelona's performance to the same as at the beginning of the season.
I also believe that Real Madrid's performances will not continue to decline due to the set of players they have. Real Madrid has a lot of quality players. In fact, I would say their squad is built with world-class players, so I am not very worried about their performances. I know they will surely bounce back into form.
The reason why Real Madrid's performances declined at the early stage was that some of their quality players were injured. However, now they are back; only two or so key players may remain injured.
Again, it is not that Real Madrid is in great form currently, but the reason they have managed to occupy the first position is that their competitors are also not in serious form. Recently, Atletico co, who was in form, has started declining, and Barcelona has not yet regained their form.
