I'm kind of amazed when I see some guys reporting 65 pushups or more at a point, at the same time I would love to inquire if you'll do it low and fast or move down until your chest is almost touching the floor and then move up until your arms are straight up cos I'm thinking it's more difficult and tasky when done slowly.
Perhaps your consistencies are paying off and your bodies are already more accepting of the exercise. I can hardly go above 25 at a go for now so I achieve 50 in two or three sets for a session, but I believe I'll get better in due time though.
I didn’t start out doing 65+ in a set. After nearly a year of push-ups daily I’d like to think my form is perfect. I couldn’t go any lower without laying down and I couldn’t go any higher without a joint in my mouth. After all, this is about being strong, not appearing to random strangers on the internet as strong. I’m sure I could do a set of 100 extremely easily if I didn’t care about form or range of motion. Maybe that will be my cheat code for my last day to achieve my goal.
