Manchester City survived against Chelsea, if they face Arsenal and survive whiich is very possible that means there is a tendency that they will have the opportunity to later be ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool will have to buckle up so that Pep Guardiola will not use his magic charms to steal the league from them again. Manchester City has a good way of winning difficult matches when they are in good form I think winning Chelsea and Arsenal will be a good motivation to defeat other good teams and New Castle is not a good opposition to them currently I think Liverpool is their biggest opponent this season but if they manage to defeat them they have the opportunity of finishing 2nd of they can't overtake Liverpool.
Of course it is possible for Manchester City to survive against Arsenal same the way they survived against Chelsea. I even fear with City’s current form that if they can maintain stability and consistency and they might come back to be contenders for the title this season. I still have doubt in Liverpool to continue in this playing fashion till the end of the season. Liverpool will have to stay consistent going forward to fend off Arsenal and Manchester City from catching them up.
