No, because what’s the point of a privacy coin if the government won’t support it?
Every developer who creates a coin (regardless of its purpose) wants massive adoption. Now, let’s compare Monero and Bitcoin, sure, Monero is a privacy coin, but does it have widespread adoption? the obvious answer is no.
We know that many countries have banned Monero because some governments hate privacy coins. So, while the idea looks good on paper, in reality, it’s nearly impossible to gain mainstream support because governments are against them.
if I were satoshi, i would just be happy seeing the development of bitcoin now though not exactly what I envision from the start.
I don't remember Satoshi every caring about the government supporting Bitcoin. The intention was that it was unstoppable.
