I predicted that Manchester City would return to form at the beginning of this year and I am glad that they didn’t disappoint. They have had some impressive performances in the Premier League and with their current win over Club Brugge in the Champions League. This weekend they will face Arsenal in the Premier League, a match that promises to be both entertaining and intense as both clubs will be eager to secure all three of points as they push to climb higher in the standings. I believe City have a stronger chance of defeating Arsenal irrespective of where the match will be played and considering that Arsenal will be without star player Bukayo Saka due to injuries, Arsenal will be disadvantaged in the match.
Based on the odds offered by the bookie, I think we all know who is the favorite in the match. Arsenal are playing at home and they are favorites based on the existing odds, but considering that Manchester City is starting to prove their good performance again, it feels like these high odds really underestimate them.
I am not underestimating Manchester City under any circumstances this season, even when they have failed to maintain their consistent good form. Manchester City are struggling to improve their performance so far and in fact Pep Guardiola is starting to find the best form from his players. A draw may make more sense than underestimating Manchester City, but bookmakers can offer any odds if they think they are favorable.
