What a great start for Arsenal as Odeegard opened the scoreline on 01.44secs to put Arsenal on the lead. City needs to buggle up their belt and equalize this goal for us to know that they have picked form. An early goal will motivate Arsenal winning spirit.
This is the match that will determine if City can win Madrid in the UCL playoff.
Arsenal 1-0 M. City
I love the swift goal scored by Odegaard at the very early minutes of the game. It was quite unexpected but went on smoothly. I saw how Kai Havertz provided Odegaard with good assist which led to the goal and how comfortable they were in scoring that goal. Some minutes later, Martinelli made attempts to score another goal but was discontinued due to an offside blown by the referee.
Arsenal is currently at the second position of the table standing with Liverpool still leading with a wide margin. I don't think Arsenal is ever ready to lose this match because it will make their chances slim and give opportunity to Nottingham Forest over taking them at the league's table.
The match between the two teams in my opinion can be said to be quite a fierce match, because usually I see Man City playing they always appear calm, while in today's match in the first half they seemed unable to appear calm, with one incident that almost made Arsenal score another goal was when the Man City goalkeeper made a mistake unfortunately this was not utilized as well as possible by the Arsenal player whose shot went wide.
Man City really had a hard time in this match and I doubt they will be able to win against Arsenal, even though they had difficulty scoring goals but in the first half there were opportunities that were on target, it's just that luck was not on their side like the opportunity that occurred with a header from a city player that was still blocked by the Arsenal goalkeeper.
But we'll just see until the end who will win.
