HIP 138 and HIP 141 Implementation Update

HIP 138: Return to HNT and HIP 141: Single-Token Governance and Helium Release Proposals have been fully deployed, following community approval!

Key changes:
IOT and MOBILE tokens emissions have stopped.
All future rewards will be distributed in HNT.
Past rewards in IOT and MOBILE can still be claimed.

✅ What This Means for You:

Hotspots will now earn HNT directly instead of IOT or MOBILE tokens.
Token swaps are available at any time via the Treasury.
No immediate action is required–just ensure your Helium apps are up to date.

As outlined in HIP 141, existing veIOT and veMOBILE positions are now unlocked and available for conversion to HNT. Stay tuned for a detailed roadmap of future Helium protocol upgrades, which will be shared with the community in the coming weeks.
