I take one day off from doing push-ups and all hell breaks loose in the market…

This is a good thing for me - I have a loan that is due to conclude in a day or two and the repayment will be under the dollar value when I loaned out the funds.

yeah your big toe is not injured get back on it.

I have decided to do the pushups every other day to keep the toe from hurting.

I can do the steps they do not hurt like the pushups do.

When my toes were hurting I was putting cushions under them (mostly pillows - but it also helped if I was wearing shoes to provide protection).

Accordingly, there might be some way that you might get support from your ankle and take the pressure (weight) off of your toes.. even though your angle is worse when you are doing your pushups upright rather than flat.. so it might be more difficult to find a solution to relieve you of your weight.

It's funny you're talking about toes - I've mostly been doing pushups one I'm ready for the day, but recently, I've done my first or last set sans shoes and have noticed my toes aren't accustomed to being in that position, so I'm going to have to do more barefoot to build strength in the foot area.

Today, I'm doing sets of fifteen push-ups up for the dozen I've been doing over the last few weeks.  (Hopefully, I can keep going with this).
