I am just having this thought: if we truly trust our gambling skills, then just like starting a business, we take risks because we believe we’ll succeed in the future. So, what if we’ve proven our strategy works, but we’re only betting small amounts and missing out on bigger opportunities? We might consider borrowing money to fast-track our success. Has anyone ever done that?
Borrowing money to gamble is not being brave, but being plainly stupid, forgive me for using that word but it's exactly what it is.
Maybe some gamblers might have taken this type of risk before and succeeded, this does not mean this is the right thing to do.
It is even another wrong thing to compare borrowing money to set up a business and borrowing money to gamble, this two are not the same and should not be compared. In business, even if it fails, you can not lose everything, this is disregarding the fact that one has more chances of succeeding in borrowing money to start up a business, than borrowing to gamble, in gambling, whatever is lost is lost forever, this is something every one should always think about and consider before ever thinking of borrowing money to gamble.
And also to say for myself that this is the last thing I would ever do, or allow anyone close to me do, better to invest the borrowed money than gamble with it.
