Real Madrid are still considered hot favorites for the Champions League title. Madrid's performance was weak in some matches of the Champions League. And at the moment, Real Madrid is a strong team. On the other hand, we saw Manchester City's performance against Arsenal yesterday. Manchester City is not able to play well against big teams. So I don't think Manchester City will be able to create any major obstacles for Real Madrid to qualify for the next round. Real Madrid will win both matches against City.
Lets hope that's the case as it'll be sad to see the best club in the world get knockout of the competition that they own. Real Madrid are the most successful club in the champions league history therefore I expected them to qualify directly without having to play the playoffs but now that's what they'll have to do to keep competing and I think no club can stop them currently apart from Liverpool that's playing so well in the champions league and only lost their last match as they used players that they don't usually use to play important games. Manchester city are still not good and they'll be disgrace when they play against Real Madrid as Arsenal did.
