Losing the bet because they put their trust in Man City, it must be admitted that this season Arsenal is much better than Man City. When the score of 3-1 alone proved that Man City was unable to turn things around. This is a fairly satisfactory response, especially for Arteta because the last time they met ended tensely. Maybe Arteta should say this to Haaland "Stay humble". LoL
Now Pep Guardiola is under pressure that has not been resolved because he is required to rest a number of his important players to face Real Madrid. Pep doesn't seem to want to take risks in the FA Cup against Leyton Orient.
It sucks City got thrashed, but 5 goals were really unacceptable. They're so fucking dump during second half. You know, Akanji shit, Foden shit, and almost everyone in the squad gave no contribution. Glad Haaland scored one goal, though he got a sarcasm by Arsenal fans. LMAO.
The game against Madrid is not gonna be an easy game, and doubted them to win with their current squad. Lack of sharpness, shaky defense, inconsistent transformation from attack to dev, and many more.
There might be plenty of reasons why they lost, and no positivity showed by Pep's squad.
I don't even think that it's the game against Madrid that made them lose so heavily yesterday. Arsenal were the better side yesterday in all departments. Akanji has been causing lots of blunders this season, he wasn't like this previous seasons. I don't really understand the sudden decline in his performance for the team. Folden performance yesterday is just something I should try to forget and that of Matthieu Nunez. You could hardly see the Arsenal defence being troubled, but every time Arsenal players hold the ball they penetrate city defense anyhow. City brought in some defenders this January, but they are still shaking very well. There's no improvement at all, what a Waste of resources.
