After seeing the game between Manchester City and Arsenal that ended the way it ended, I think Madrid will be more confident that they can win the fixture against Manchester city and city will have their confidence tampered as they were literally humbled by an epic scoreline in the yesterday's fixture. I n this fixture it's sad that winning is the only option for either teams as they cannot draw and still have a chance so it's going to be a really epic and yet intriguing game between both teams.
In this pair Real is the favorite, but not as big (as I would like haha), here are the bookmakers' opinions on the first match:
2.36 - 3.70 - 2.80
It is not known how the first game will go, but judging by the odds, the game in Spain should be rated at approximately 1.8 in favor of Real. Overall, I am pleased that the decisive game will take place at Real Madrid's stadium.
Ah yes the first game is in Manchester. I was puzzled for a second as I thought these are the odds for the game in Madrid, but I agree with you that I would probably put the odds in the second leg for Real Madrid playing at home somewhere around 1.8, too. While Real Madrid isn't playing their best season ever, Manchester City has now been disappointing and off the rails in too many games. This is not about an accident anymore and one or two bad days. Manchester City has changed for the worse this season. I couldn't trust my eyes how PSG dominated them in the Champions League. The two goals that City scored were coincidences and normally Manchester City wouldn't lose that game. But in this case I had this feeling that PSG would strike back hard and that is what they did. Real Madrid is the favorite in this one and City can only try to secure a good position in the first game to still make the second game worth the flight to Madrid.
