It seems that Manchester City is at the end of its glory era, Pep Guardiola seems to have lost his touch, they don't look like a team that once won the Premier League four times in a row. Arsenal celebrated a big win today with full of emotions, a win that maybe they themselves never imagined. Five goals scored by five different players, in my opinion, can explain how bad Manchester City defense line is. This big win certainly increases the pressure on Liverpool, and Arteta can still hope his team can lead the standings in the future.
Not entirely, Manchester City are still a very good side and just like every other team goes through this phase at some point and City are not the first to go through this struggling phase and it will pass. Obviously this big win will put a bit of pressure on Liverpool in the title race and also serve as a boost to Arteta’s dream of winning the league trophy this season with hopes that Manchester City will play better against Liverpool and hopefully win.

But this is what the whole discussion is about all the time. Nobody really knows or understands whether Manchester City is going through a phase as you said or whether Manchester City has developed some serious problems over time that now need to be taken care of in a form that nobody actually wants to acknowledge. It is possible that some of the players are too satisfied with what they have achieved.

I am saying this because the phase you are talking about is something that endures two weeks, maybe two months sometimes. But now it is an entire season and everything is at risk. Maybe it is time for some players to be fully rotated out of the team and bring in some new players that are of highest potential. There is hardly any player now in the team who is playing on the same level as the last few years. None of the top players is doing what we are used to see from them.

I. think Guardiola is in doubt now too. I am not so sure that he is going to fulfill his newly signed contract.
