Napoli failed to get all 3 points following the1:1 draw they played out against AS Roma, Napoli deserved victory in the game because of their good display and better performance but seeing how AS Roma was able to get a draw against Napoli shows the improvement in the team despite their inconsistent performance in the league. AS Roma may even get a bad result in their next game if they play against a team that matches their energy, Napoli wouldn't have played a 1:1 draw if not because of their over confidence in the game knowing that they have a better squad than Roma.
I wasn't surprised by Napoli draw against Roma, if you look at Roma performance in the previous six league games; you can see that they are returning to winning ways. Roma had a poor performance in the first leg of the season, and I viewed them to be the worst squad in Seria A, but as time passed, the team's performance improved once they hired Claudio Ranieri on a one year contract. Roma currently sits ninth on the table. Maybe they'll have an opportunity to compete in European competitions next season.
Furthermore, I did not watch the live game between Roma and Napoli, but I do not believe Napoli dominated Roma throughout the game. During the match, Roma had 52% ball control and Napoli had 48. AS Roma had 12 shots, two of them were on target, while Napoli had 5 and 2 of them were on target. In my opinion, both teams performed well in the game, and the draw is a fair result for Napoli rather than dropping a point to Roma.
