The fact that Manchester City isn't a big favourite should be obvious by now, I mean sure they are facing Real Madrid now, so it's even less, but even before that, if you watched any game from this season, you should know that they are not favourites at all, and now that they are facing Real Madrid, they are definitely not the favourites this season without a doubt.
I am 99% sure that Real Madrid will beat City and move on, but I do not see them as favourites this season neither, there are many other teams that are looking much better so I am pretty sure that City isn't really the favourites, they don't look like that at all. I am pretty sure that we are going to end up with a different situation based on whatever we see.
In this pair, I am not so sure that Real has such a clear advantage here, although if we evaluate the state of the defense of these teams, then Real is clearly doing better. I am also more inclined to think that Real should beat City, but I see that the overwhelming majority see Real winning, and in such cases, unexpected results often happen. Can City win, of course they can, because despite all their problems, they are still a very strong team with excellent players. So I do not agree with 99% in favor of Real, but I think 60/40 in favor of Real.
Neither of clubs have advantage. We know how crap City is. They're terrible in all of lines, but same things are happening with Madrid too.
Although, Real Madrid is in a better state than City, they're mentally better in domestic, but they're also bad in UCL. If i should chose, i'd i pick Madrid. The problem is the risk is quite high.
I decide not even pick any of them. In this case, betting on BTTS most likely become the profitable bet. I'm pretty sure the game ended with narrow score like 2-1 or 3-2 Madrid win.
