You are right but humans can not be 100% discipline that's why most times disciplined gamblers also fall into temptations. But even if one can be tempted by money through loss chasing at least they should try to control it. If chasing loss becomes a habit it's very important to take a brake on gamble rather than continue then lose more everyday. Gamble only becomes interesting when gambling responsibly. Risking the amount you can afford to lose will help a gambler not to become greedy and chase after losses.
Yes, but it doesn't matter, because there comes a time when discipline becomes a habit, I say this because it happens to me and if one tries to break that discipline one feels bad, that's how it is with diets, well I say diets of eating healthy, without sugar , bad fats or something like that, we are always going to look for the best things for our being and more so when it comes to money, the reason why that discipline goes away is that the effects of alcohol can do it, or extraordinary things, but it is rare for that to happen.
Discipline in gambling is indeed an important thing to have, because it can determine our fate in the future, now if we do not have discipline in gambling then what might happen is gambling that is done brutally by ignoring the risks because they only think about winning.
If we cannot gamble with discipline, we will have to face a disastrous situation there. Even if a gambler accepts gambling as entertainment and does not have discipline, then his gambling intention will never be successful. If a gambler wants to gamble in the long term, the gambler must conduct responsible gambling. Who accepts gambling as entertainment, his losses will not have a big effect, but if he is not a responsible gambler or if he does not have discipline in his bets, then he will not be able to accept gambling as entertainment in the long term. Those who conducts gambling with discipline, their expectation of winning is also under control, which protects them from becoming greedy.
An experience gambler will always look for ways to limit his losses, because he enjoys gambling and wouldn't want himself to be carried away by his greed or emotions. It's only the gamblers who don't care about the consequences of irresponsible gambling that will not be able to have a healthy gambling practice, because they are carried away with making profits, and see gambling as a short cut to riches.
