Exactly! you need to have that capability to control your emotions, as gambling always carries risk and if you don't know how to control then you'll suffer more loses, and for most of those who keep losing and become addicted they mostly blame the house there's some who pointing fingers to someone and some that accused the house that cheats on them as they are expecting to have a better result but at the end of the session they lose everything they deposit and regret such mistakes.
Actually everything has its own risks, including in gambling. Everyone knows that gambling never guarantees the win, it even spends a lot our money. If we have no control for our emotion, we may be influenced to spend all the money to chase the wins. Or we may be triggered to gamble as much as possible to recover the losses. This is totally wrong way in gambling, this will lead into an excessive gambling. The only way is to limit control our emotion by limiting the funds and the time to play gambling games. So, it is true that controlling emotion is very important in gambling.

It's a difficult task but it can be done. Limiting the funds that will spent on gambling is something that must be done because this will save us some money by avoiding chasing losses. Another trick is to buy the necessary items first, pay the bills, pay the credit card debts and what's left could be used for leisure like gambling. That way we won't be afraid to lose it because we already spent the money on the important things that must be paid for and bought.
Gambling is not a scam but it eats a lot of money before it gives back, that's the case most of the time, and our frustration before it happens could lead us to make bad decisions. Spending money that is meant for important things could be a big trouble.
