Now comparing them in this season only, and in their forms recently, in my opinion Real Madrid are better than Manchester City too. The playoff draw result brings them together in a biggest clash in playoff stage, but with a big defeat of Manchester City by Arsenal in Premier League, Real Madrid can feel very happy and they actually see better chance to win this playoff pair eventually.
In my opinion Manchester City have done well in the last three seasons before Manchester City was not such a successful club. But Real Madrid is always a royal club and they have maintained their royal performance for a long time.
When the match between Manchester City and Real Madrid will be held this season, Real Madrid is undoubtedly considered as the favorite team for that match.
