The last time, Newcastle stun Arsenal at the Emirates and the gunners lost 2 - 0 This is a second opportunity to see if the gunners can turn it around with a comeback against The Magpies at St James's stadium. Arsenal needs 3 goals without reply in order to advance to the finals, anything other than this, will be goodbye for them in the EFL cup this season.
If not for the Isak goal that was canceled, it would have been a two goals to none now in just first half. I wonder why Arsenal is really slacking out when it comes to their challenge against Newcastle. When they played at the Emirates stadium, it was a two goals and now they're still a goal ahead after Isak rattled the post and Murphy was able able to secure a goal for the club. I am waiting to see how things pan out for the Gunners but I'm sure it's going to be a challenging game for The Arsenal side.

It will equally be a thing of joy for me if I see Arsenal prosper against Newcastle but it's way beyond that. It is all about what effort a club is able to put into the whole gameplay. Arteta needs to do beyond just trying to handle the Newcastle, if they want to win this season, he must work on winning them in any fixturing.
