Ever found yourself in a situation where it's like you are winning a bet, and the casino offered you a cashout that is more than x5 the amount of money you had put in the game, but you happily turned it down, believing you will definitely win the bet and get the maximum potential winning.
Only for you to logoff from the casino for a couple of hours, coming back later to check the game, you discover you had lost the bet..
Same situation I found myself yesterday night..
I betted 50,000 Shiba inu on the above parley to win over 3, 349,000 Shiba inu, the game was going on nicely and stake offered me a cashout of over 700,000 Shiba inu, i thought of taking the offer but later refused believing I have a good chance of winning the maximum amount of money, but coming back later to check the game, i discovered I lost the bet, this made me feel very bad, up till now, I still wish I had taken the cash out that was offered me.
Ever been in the same situation before? What's your experience like?
This is a similar situation but not identical to the Monty Hall problem. In summary, it’s about a host telling a contestant that there is a prize behind one of three doors. Once the contestant chooses, the host opens one of the remaining two doors that contains nothing and gives the contestant the option to switch doors. It might seem like, since you have a 1/3 chance at the start, you'll have the same probability whether you switch or not, but in reality, switching doors is always the best option because your chances of winning would be 2/3. The same happens here: always take what you are offered and you will get x5 guaranteed gains, not a possible higher gain.
