It's surprising though cause after Arsenal demolished Manchester City in their last encounter one wouldn't expect they get a win tonight against Newcastle but Newcastle stole the show tonight and defeated Arsenal 2:0 comfortably, may be Arsenal scored all their goals against City but seeing how they couldn't get a goal against Newcastle shows how they are still not informed they need a lot of people to talk to them and motivate them to get things right because the club is becoming a joke to me.
This is what makes English football increasingly competitive and the results are quite difficult to predict. After some time ago Arsenal was able to destroy Man City with a landslide score, unexpectedly in the League Cup semifinals, against Newcastle, Arsenal was unable to score a single goal against Newcastle, with a score of 2-0 for the first leg, and a score of 2-0 also for the second leg, so that the aggregate total became 4-0.
And with this landslide victory Newcastle managed to advance to the League Cup final, and now we just have to wait for the match between Liverpool vs Tottenham Spurs, in the first leg Spurs were one goal ahead of Liverpool. With a fairly thin aggregate, it is very possible for Liverpool to equalize in the second leg, but even so anything is still possible, and if Spurs are able to hold Liverpool to a draw in the second leg, then Spurs will advance to the final.
