It's surprising though cause after Arsenal demolished Manchester City in their last encounter one wouldn't expect they get a win tonight against Newcastle but Newcastle stole the show tonight and defeated Arsenal 2:0 comfortably, may be Arsenal scored all their goals against City but seeing how they couldn't get a goal against Newcastle shows how they are still not informed they need a lot of people to talk to them and motivate them to get things right because the club is becoming a joke to me.
I think the reason why arsenal succeeded in defeating Manchester City was because already Manchester City are in a terrible form and arsenal used that opportunity, and before now arsenal already know Manchester City is a hard team which I think they played the game with all seriousness that was why they won the game. It is possible Arsenal has no much interest for EFL Cup that was why they failed to win the game. What is most important to arsenal is to have better games in premier league, which are know they are trying their best to see if they can get to the top.
I'm not surprise for Newcastle to defeat arsenal, if it were to be in the Premier league I don't think it will be easy for Newcastle to defeat arsenal.
