I will put Dortmund ahead. Sporting had a good start to the Champions League. Even the top spot in the Liga Portugal table is still in Sporting's hands. However, Sporting has failed to win in the last four matches of the Champions League. Sporting has lost three matches and drawn one.
However, Sporting won 4-1 against Manchester City in this year's Champions League. However, when this happened, Amorim was the coach of Sporting. So the possibility that Sporting will be able to play well and win in the match against Dortmund is somewhat low.
Although Dortmund's performance is irregular. However, it seems that Dortmund is very serious in the Champions League matches. Dortmund is able to play quite well in the Champions League.
Both teams are currently on same level of performance is difficulties as both have change of coaches and their performance in domestic league taking changes but here in Champions League Dortmund is having impressive record while in last season they were in final but in this season things were challenging but still they have done good job and won 5 games. Due to this experience and quality in Champions League without any problem they can enjoy win while Sporting CP is facing trouble in last four games they have winless streak which is also not good next few games are important for Dortmund because this will give them better shape at the end of season.
Sporting CP performance was balance but due to exit of Amorim now they are trying to have back on good run which will take time hopefully next season could be on good level.
