It amazes me that despite all the bad things that have happened about this company in recent years, people still buy their devices, when there are so many good alternatives available.
Bad habits die hard.
Ledger is a powerhouse when it comes to marketing and branding. Anyone remotely interested in bitcoin and crypto knows that. They collaborate with famous people, they pay good money to have influencers shill for them over social media, and you can see them in ads. I think they are doing something now with College Basketball training programs or something like that. I have seen something like that pop up, where young athletes are training and you can see the Ledger brand on the court. Other companies don't have such a reach and can't or aren't willing to invest as much in marketing. Whether we like it or not, it works for them. Ask 10 random people to name three hardware wallet brands, and if they know what you are talking about, the majority will probably mention Ledger among others.
