They have a chance in the Europa League, but in Serie A I think their chance to become champions is closed, maybe the target they can maximize is trying to get the best place in the standings by being able to win a place to go to European competition. AS Roma in the last few seasons they have always struggled to get what they expect, even to compete for the top 4 positions they have had a lot of difficulty. I agree with you, their Europa performance has been relatively better than that of their Serie A performance and that could read to be that they are probably not having that better chance in their domestic league as much and this could somehow be relaxed to their inconsistency in their performances especially in their domestic and just maybe they get even tougher opponents there than they do in the europa, this is more like the second time in a row they have been in the europa so most likely they aren't making it to the top four in their domestic league in the last two seasons.
Many are still lacking from AS Roma, the inconsistency of Rome makes them not in a stable team, especially after changes coaches and that may need to be adjusted again in the adaptation in the team, Roma is indeed a pretty good potential because they are not the team Small and I think they can also rise up they will still not have the plea for now Ranieri is still in the adaptation stage and recognizes the abilities of the players in Rome.
