"Manchester United: Finances in focus after club reveals £300m losses over past three years"

Given this news I would argue that United are not in financial trouble. Ten Hag spent a huge amount of money on transfers, which turned out to be extremely unsuccessful and now Amorim is trying to rectify the situation, but without new transfers it will be difficult. Although even with the players that United have now, they can win and should be clearly above the 8th place in the EPL.

Nevertheless, Ten Hag's legacy will be remembered for a long time, given the damage he did to Manchester United.
I know United spent more money under ETH, but he shouldn't be blamed for the debts, the Glazers are the ones that approved those deals so they should be the ones to blame. I believe with the decision taken by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, United should be able to balance the books in few years but one area they really need to work on is the team performance. If they can get back to the champions league and also do well in the EPL, they will generate more revenues.
Ten Hag did not do it on his own accord, of course he asked permission from the management to be able to recruit the players he wanted and the management allowed it, but the club certainly had high hopes for Ten Hag and clearly Ten Hag was to blame because he recruited players who did not produce anything because the club's performance did not improve and now Amorim has to bear the blame caused by Ten Hag until finally he could not freely recruit players according to his wishes.
For now, United's income comes from the European League and they perform well there if they can survive until the end, it might improve their finances, especially if Man United can get a UCL ticket next season, it will be even better to generate more income.
