I'm glad to hear that Liverpool has a great chance to achieve a treble this season. Hopefully it will be achieved even though we don't expect much from Arne Slot's performance in his first season at Anfield.
If we can't do a treble because the competition in the UCL is very tight, at least we are satisfied with winning one Premier League trophy (the 20th title).
If we look at the opportunities this season for the Liverpool team, I am still more confident in the three trophies in the competitions in England such as the EFL Cup, FA Cup, and also the EPL. Because for the UCL there are still many challenges that Liverpool need to overcome so there are other possibilities that can happen to the team in pursuing the prestigious trophy. And even for the FA Cup itself there are still many obstacles that Liverpool must face because in terms of achieving three trophies at once in one season it will definitely make Liverpool players very tired.
The Champions League always demands extra hard work, but I think Liverpool deserve to be at the top of the list of favorite teams to win this season. Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich who are almost every season favorites as candidates for the title are not in their best form, this gives Arne Slot squad a greater opportunity to talk more. Likewise in the three domestic competitions, there is no doubt about Liverpool journey to win the three trophies at once.
Arne Slot only concern going forward might be the problem of player injuries, in that case Arne Slot has to be smart enough to work around his rotation options. Fatigue will be the main challenge if Liverpool are ambitious to achieve success in all competitions, but I think Arne Slot and all his players are very ready to face it. No one expected Arne Slot to be able to manage Liverpool into a title contender team in various competitions in a short time.
